City University is a program that is run by the Department of Human Resources. Follow the steps to apply to the program before you register for the courses in order to get approval to receive tuition subsidy for the course you plan on enrolling in.
Every year, DHR sets aside an amount for City University reimbursements. Full or partial tuition subsidy is pending funding availability and is decided before you register for the courses. Take advantage of this low cost to free resource to fulfill your training hours.
Step 1. See what courses are listed as City University approved courses. There are 4 pathways to completing a course through City University. Select one of the links below for more information. Look at these pages to see what course themes are eligible to receive tuition subsidy.
Step 2. Look at the college course catalog to see what course you want to take that is approved by City University. Best times to look are for the Fall courses because the tuition subsidy funding is refreshed every fiscal year on July 1.
Step 3. Apply to become an active student of that specific university or extension program.
