- Learn the key benefits to collaborative partnering
- Gain a deeper understanding of how the partnering can and should be used to resolve issues in real time
- Learn how to use key elements to partnering including: Professional neutral facilitators, partnering charters, dispute resolution ladders and scorecards
- Experience a "Partnering on Partnering" exercise, where attendees will explore the benefits of increased collaboration on their projects
- Participate in a discussion of "Barriers to Partnering", to identify and discuss what issues challenge project teams in the City and County of San Francisco

This orientation is designed for managers and project level staff. Construction managers, resident engineers, project managers, inspectors, architects, engineers, division managers, public affairs officers and other project staff from local construction firms and City departments are encouraged to attend.

Rob Reaugh
Rob Reaugh has been the Executive Director for International Partnering Institute (IPI) since 2011. In his role, he oversees IPI’s Committees, serves as the Editor for Partnering Magazine, and has led IPI’s effort to develop the “Owner’s Toolbox”, which is comprised of Partnering Specifications, the IPI Matrix, and other tools. He also guides IPI’s International Awards Program, which has honored more than 50 project teams and organizations since 2010 and in 2013 launched the Collaborative Partnering Orientation Training worldwide and has trained more than 800 construction professionals with sessions in Delhi, Chennai, Goa, and Mumbai, India and more recently with SFO International Airport, the City and County of San Francisco and the California Department of Water Resources.

Dana Paz is the IPI Assistant Director of Operations and has more than 10 years of experience working with multi-disciplinary teams in the US and internationally, developing and conducting trainings and workshops on collaboration and accountability. She joined IPI in 2015 and has presented on Collaborative Partnering to more than 300 construction professionals. She runs IPI’s International Committee, the Awards Program, and is a featured contributor to Partnering Magazine.
